GOALKEEPERS:
Chris Mackenzie:
Macca is a very talented keeper who started his career at Corby, from there he moved to Hereford where he scored and made 60 odd appearances. The reliable keeper only missed one game last season where he was rested so that Ryan Young was given a run out. .Macca recently underwent surgery on his Ankle.
Ryan Young:
Ryan joined from Chase Town after spending 3 years there Young has high expectations this season, with Macca out Ryan is our only goalkeeper, so far he is looking capable of covering Chris.
DEFENDERS:
Simon Weaver:
Weaver signed from Ilkeston Town in February 2000, weaver is still Young and already looks more than capable of tackling the conference.
Terry Angus:
Tez is considered to be one of the best defenders in non-league football he is commanding and strong physically and mentally .Tez done a marvellous job of team captain last year but won?e continuing as captain this term.
Andy Thackeray:
Andy is an ex-Halifax full back and has recently been appointed team captain. Thacks has also played at Man City and Huddersfield before opting to step down a league to the Conference Thacks is a solid defender and is more than Capable of getting forward.
Michael Love:
Love signed in the summer from Stevenage and has impressed in pre-season friendlies, he has lived up to expectation of Prinderville very well.
Carl Bacon
Bacon is only 19-years-old and has impressed in pre-season friendlies. Leicester City has recently released Bacon, Boro boss Brendan Phillips didnt estate for a moment in capturing this starlet.
MIDFIELDERS:
Barry Williams:
Bazza played most games in midfield for Boro last season but many Boro fans and Followers still believe he is wasted there and should play in the central Defence position. He started his career at Cambridge when he moved to the midlands he finally settled at Boro. He has made over 180 appearances for Boro over the 5 seasons he has been here.
Jamie Willimas:
Jamie joined Boro during the previous season from local rivals Hinckley Utd. The young left midfielder seems a decent young player and a prospect for the future.
Dave Crowley:
Crowley joined Nuneaton in 95 from Stafford Rangers since then he has made 130 appearances here. Crowley is known as the Donkey and every ones theories were backed up when he fell out of a tree and broke his Ribs.
Shaun Wray:
Shaun started his career at Shrewsbury Town, before leaving to join Stafford Rangers he eventually ended up at Manor Park. Wray is a skillful and pacy winger who has recently broke his collarbone this was a big blow for him and the club.
Alex Sykes:
Sykes is talented left-sided midfielder who scored on his league debut for Mansfield. Sykes tured his back on a professional contract to study at University. Sykes signed from Forest Green Rovers on a free transfer.
Jason Peake: Peake joined from Plymouth Argyle mid way through last season. He originally joined on loan, but he made such an impression on Boro Boss Burr he had to sign him. The creative midfielder is a set piece expert and is a very good play maker.
Richard Lavery: Richard joined Boro from Hincley Utd where he was names player of the season last year. He played for Boro in 1994 and since being away he has had spells with Sutton Coldfield and Tamworth.
Joe Hanney:
This Boro born and bread youngster has been came through the ranks at the Boro academy and seems to be fitting in well at Manor Park. He has made a few appearances for the first team and looks a hot prospect for the future.
STRIKERS:
Lee Charles:
Lee joined Boro from Hayes on Bosman Ruling and has made an instant affect of Boro fans after scoring after 1 minute on his debut. The 29-year-old England semi-pro international has had league experience with Queens Park Rangers.
Marc McGregor:
Marc is the clubs record breaking signing at ?000. He has recently received his two caps for his England semi-pro appearances. Marc is a determined striker and is very good in the air.
Nick Kennerdale:
Nicky joined Boro from Eatswood Town when it was reported that the BISC chipped in the money to buy him. After making a great first impression at Manor Park, the strong and powerful target man was involved in a stabbing incident in Nottingham. He looks set to return nest season.
